No. WeConnectU is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to any college or university. We use university email verification only to confirm you're a current student — your school has no involvement in operating WeConnectU.

Anyone with an eligible university email address can create a student account. WeConnectU is organized by campus, so you'll only see and connect with other verified students from your own school.

Download the app, select "I'm a Student," and sign up using your university email. You can sign in directly or use Google or Microsoft to speed things up.

Double-check you're using your university email address exactly as it appears in your school's system.

If you originally signed up with Google or Microsoft, you may not have set a password yet, try signing in with Google or Microsoft again instead of entering an email and password directly. You can always set a password later from Settings once you're signed in.

If you're still stuck, reach out through our Contact page and let us know your university and the email you're trying to use. We'll never ask for your password.

Choose whether you're looking to connect academically or socially, and WeConnectU will show you other students at your school based on shared majors, interests, and classes.

Head to the Academics tab and select Study Groups. You can browse existing groups by class or category, or create your own and set a meeting schedule.

Events posted by fellow students as well as local businesses and organizations targeting your campus, everything from casual meetups to nightlife, workshops, and more.

From the Social tab, switch to the Clubs view to browse student organizations by category, see their meeting times, and learn how to get involved.

Tap "Add Club" from the Clubs page and fill out the submission form, including your meeting schedule, location, and a photo. Submissions are reviewed by our team before appearing publicly.

New clubs are reviewed before going live so the directory stays accurate. You'll see your submission with a "Pending Review" label in the meantime, and you'll be notified once it's approved.

A space to ask questions, share study tips, post helpful resources, or get advice from other students at your school. Posts are visible for 24 hours before moving into your personal post history.

How do I list my business on WeConnectU? Select "I'm a Business / Organization" when signing up. Business accounts are reviewed before your events become visible to students.

What information do students see about my business? Students see the information you choose to include on your event and business profile, such as your name, description, and contact details. We do not share individual student data with businesses.

Does WeConnectU sell my data? No. We do not sell or rent your personal information to advertisers, businesses, or any third party.

Can I control what's on my profile? Yes, every profile field except your email is optional, and you can edit or remove information at any time.
